Yeah to be honest, everyone here so this coming. We almost got rid of him mid-last season and decided to keep him at the last minute.
It's also not surprising as our cheap-as-shit owner Robert Sarver, doesn't want to pay anyone. I'm far more upset and surprised about him letting Steve Kerr go than I am about Amare.
Stat is a fantastic offensive player, but he's inconsistent and a medical liability. The guys had several surgery's on his knees and eyes and that's just not worth a max contract. I think what the Suns offered him was fair considering the circumstances. (I believe 93 million for 4 years.)
I'm sure he'll do fine in New York, but they'll soon realize Amare doesn't play defense and/or rebound. He has all the talent in the world, but he comes off as a bit of a head case. Still, I'm sad to see him go as he was one of our most high profile players. I don't know him being in New York will help bring Lebron or not but I guess it can't hurt.
