Dan Gilbert said LeBron James quit during the playoffs.  Let the self-proclaimed King know what we all really witnessed from him this offseason.  Let us know what you think about LeBron, the Cavs or the state of Cleveland sports in general.  One random poster will be selected to win a LeBron James "Quitness" t-shirt.

Contest ends 8/11, so join in the discussion!

FreshBrewedTees.com - they have lots of cool Cleveland sports fan-type shirts.

Whether LeBron James quit during the playoffs, we will never know because we are not in his head.  LeBron can get a lot more money from endorsements (according to ESPN anyway) after he gets a ring, him going to Miami is taking the easy way out and once the Lakers get old they'll be little competition in their way (although I like Oklahoma City in the next few years.)  As for why Cleveland can't win a championship, it is harder for a small market team to win a championship, and if you have a bad owner it is outright impossible.  The Boston Red Sox were owned by the Yawkeys from 1920 until 2002 where they won zero championships in one of the biggest markets.  John Henry buys the Sox from they and it only takes him 2 years to win a title.  Dan Gilbert wants a winner and if the Cavs hit in the draft (sorry Larry but I think they'll be in the lottery this year) in the next couple of years they'll be contending for a title again.  As for the Browns, let Holmgren do his job and as for the Indians they are fucked as long as Dolan is in charge.

Well, I can't say that we got the same response as we did for the video game contest, so it looks like the next contest prize will be less Cleveland-centric.  We did get a bump in the Cavaliers talk, though, so thanks everybody.

Also, congratulations to our winner, nade.  Your shirt is on its way to California.  Why we can get people from California and Arizona to support the show but can barely scratch the Cleveland audience, I'll never know.
