To compound things for Moises Alou, just as he was about to return from that treadmill injury he messed up his knee when he ran over his son with a bike.
I remember Kaz Matsui's "anal fissures" well; he was on my fantasy team that year. Nothing like trying to replace the second baseman who was going to shore up your infield offense because your guy can't play with hemorrhoids (which, by the way also sidelined George Brett during his career).
As for Beltre, at least he took a grounder. When Josias Manzanillo was pitching for the Mariners he took a line drive to the cojones and had to have one of his testicles removed.
