I hope the Browns told the Steelers where to shove it when they were calling around trying to get a first round pick for Big Ben. He's overrated and we need to keep the streets of Cleveland safe.

I'm not convinced they're really shopping him as much as people say they are. When was the last time a player was on the block and you heard exactly which teams their current team had reached out to?

The fact that they supposedly are looking for a top 10 pick in the draft for a guy that will, apparently, be gone for at least 1/4 of the season also makes me think they aren't that interested in getting rid of him.

That said, he's still an effective QB and how badly would it piss off the Steeler fans if their hero was a Brown?

Ha ha! That would be pretty funny. He's still a scumbag though.

Hey, he still puts up numbers. As long as he isn't always in and out of jail like Pacman or something he's worth having. Look at all the trouble that Albert Belle gave the Indians. But he mashed so we loved him. I'm actually sort of surprised that the Steelers fans care. It's usually only the fans in other cities that give a damn about that stuff when it's another team's players.

He wasn't worth a top 10 pick, though. He's going to miss a chunk of this season and makes too many mistakes for a team like the Browns. The Steelers have a defense and a running game that can cover up those mistakes. The Browns don't necessarily need a Hall of ame QB under center to carry them, but they definitely need a game who isn't going to hurt them any.
