I know you'll know this Larry.  I heard Mike and Mike talking about DA's comments after the Browns cut him, but I didn't hear what he said.  I'm sure he was all bitter and pissed off but how bad was it?

“The fans are ruthless and don’t deserve a winner,” Anderson said. “I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured. I know at times I wasn’t great. I hope and pray I’m playing when my team comes to town and [we] roll them.”

He did offer an apology afterward: Derek Anderson apologizes for blasting Cleveland Browns fans (Cleveland.com).  I'll give him some credit for the apology because at least he said that no, he wasn't taken out of context or anything like that, that's exactly what he said (would have been a tough sell anyway, since he said it in an email).

It's hard to fault a guy for being bitter toward the fanbase that cheered when he was injured and continued to cry for an unproven, overhyped rookie while Anderson was going to Pro Bowls.  Personally, I wish him the best.  I think we're going down the wrong path if we're going to get behind Brady Quinn - although I'm not convinced that we are.

I don't think we are either, but there was no point in keeping Anderson.  You have to pick your QB and stand behind him, and the way Mangina was doing it was just dumb.  If you're going to lead the team as the coach, you have to make the hard choice and pick your QB and not play around with starters.

Anderson might do better with a team that is more organized.  The Browns likely stuck with Quinn because they feel he has more years in front of him and potential.

Who is the other QB that we have now?  Other than Brady?

Don't worry, you'll still get to hear about. It'll just be from me since the AZ Cardinals are scouting him.

Funny how much our two cities like to swap players with each other.

We now have Seneca Wallace, who sucks, and Brett Ratliff, who sucks so bad that he was third on the depth chart behind Quinn and Anderson.
