I like the pick, but I hated the suit. For as much as we hear about how wrong stereotypes are, th NFL draft always looks like a pimp convention.
All they talked about beforehand during the broadcast was the Browns on the phone with the Rams trying to get that pick. I think they may have been blowing smoke, though, because they were making it sound like the Browns offered a Ricky Williams deal and got turned down - in which case, both sides are retarded. Then they were talking about Claussen after the sixth pick and when they went to commercial, guess who they showed during the bump...Jimmy Claussen. I figured it was destined to be. But they took the guy I think they needed more badly and Jimmy Claussen turned into the next Brady Quinn. Speaking of whom, I have no idea what the Broncos were thinking either.
If the Browns took Claussen in the second round, I don't think it would be all bad. I'm still not sold on him, but we have multiple picks and nobody figured he'd be there (assuming he still is when the Browns are back on the clock).
