LeBron James the Recruiter Targets Jawad Williams (WaitingForNextYear.com)

For the last week, the word around the NBA rumor mill has centered on all of the things that LeBron James has been doing to recruit players to come to Miami - things that he was certainly never doing when he was giving his heart and soul to the Cavaliers.

The latest is that he's trying to get his backup, Jawad Williams, to make the move.  Williams is restricted so the Cavs can match any offer from the Heat and have a whole lot more room to play with, so the likelihood of losing him is low, but it speaks to just how much James has cared about the organization.  For the past two years, free agents have said they would sign here if James would just extend his contract or promise to stay and he was unwilling to do that.  Now he's calling guys up, picking them up at the airport in Miami, doing whatever it takes to try and round out the roster.

Does Miami have a GM?  Or is that Lebron James now?

Now, in addition to all of the recruiting that he's been doing in Miami (picking free agents like Derek Fisher up at the airport, reaching out to his former teammates, etc.) comes word from Chris Bosh in an interview that LeBron never tried to get him to come to Cleveland.  Granted, it's Chris Bosh so you sort of have to take what he says with a grain of salt.
