To be clear, nothing criminal took place here.  James' image, though, continues to disintegrate before our eyes.  As ridiculous as Dan Gilbert may have sounded when he promised that the Cavaliers would win a title before James, his statements about the team covering for him and sheltering him are starting to look spot on.
