I don't know. I'm still numb. I figured he was leaving but he kept getting everybody's hopes up. I don't know why he had to do it like this. That's what makes it hurt more. I'm a Clevelander so I'm used to being disappointed but this just sucks.

I guess he'll probably get some rings in Miami now but will they really be his? I still think that D Wade's team. LeBron went from being King James to being on of the Three Amigos and he slapped his hometown in the face on national television to do it.

I'm still heartbroken and watching the Lebron channel (ESPN) makes me sick. I never thought he was leaving, until he said the words "South Beach".

Then I listened to his "decision" and realized that Miami was the only team that had a chance. he didn't even care about the Cleveland fans, the franchise, nor the other NBA teams really.

I believe that the whole week was a fraud, perpetuated by Lebron, Bosh, and Wade to misdirect people. They wanted to play together and Miami management was informed years ago of this by Dwayne Wade. Miami was the team that dumped salaries while Cleveland was forced into trying to play for now... without James assuring people that he'd stay. Guess what, he didn't.

So, the three friends get to play together. Good for them. Sucks for us.

I loved Dan Gilbert's letter to the fans and really hope that Lebron never wins a championship. Keep building... don't rebuild. (It's the reason that there are only 8 franchises that have won a title in the last 30 years.) Chris Grant and Byron Scott both really impress me.

Go Cavs!

I hope you're right. I like Byron Scott too. I think he was a good hire and even when we thought Lebron might come back and people would say "what have the Cavs done to make themselves better since the playoffs" I would say hiring Scott made them a lot better.

I don't think we'll be as bad as some people say but this all just sucks.

Byron Scott is a great hire, especially in light of the pieces that the Cavs still have.  Their biggest problem now is that they're undersized, which suits Scott's offensive style well.  You're right that bringing him in was the biggest and best thing that the Cavs could have done to improve themselves after last season.  I think we'll see Mo Williams' production return to the sort of level it was at in Milwaukee, Antawn Jamison's production will step back up, Daniel Gibson will have a rebirth and be more like the 2008 Daniel Gibson and Anthony Parker, Jamario Moon can really flourish now.  The coaching change would also help Delonte West, but I fully expect the Cavs to move him to make the most of that trade exception.

I'm predicting they make the playoffs without LeFraud and I even think they can get through the first round.  It isn't so very long ago that James only managed to "carry" the team that far himself.

Looks like D Fish won't be going to Miami to round out their roster. He REALLY took less money to try and win a championship with his team.
