Looks like D Fish won't be going to Miami to round out their roster. He REALLY took less money to try and win a championship with his team.

Gee, I read that and noticed that Derek Fisher thanked all of the teams that approached him and talked to him. What's that about? I also heard that LeBron personally picked him at the airport (which he never did when the Cavs were courting guys like Michael Redd). THAT didn't get it done? I thought free agents were going to be lining up to play alongside the Three Mi-EGOs.

I read that the NBA is investigating whether the Heat offered any of his his posse jobs with the team.  It said that the team could be fined, lose draft picks or have the contract cancelled.  How funny would it be if the NBA cancelled Lebron's contract now that all of the teams that wanted him have gone and spent their money on other guys?  Hahahahaha!

I've heard it, but the NBA won't do anything about it now.  Likely they'll create some new rule or maybe fine the team, but there won't be canceled contracts.  It'd be too much trouble for the NBA.  And it ain't like Lebron would come back to Cleveland and play.

Michael Jordan on LeBron James' decision: I wouldn't have called Bird, Magic (ESPN.com)

Michael Jordan has chimed and said basically what everybody else has said.  He was a competitor, he wanted to beat Larry Bird and Magic Johnson, not go play on their team so he could win more games.

That's why LBJ will never be MJ
