In case you've been living under a rock for the past few days, Cleveland Cavaliers majority owner Dan Gilbert lashed out at LeBron James almost immediately after LeBron announced his decision to chase rings with the Miami Heat.  The letter has gotten him blasted across the NBA landscape (although mark Cuban had his back) and in the media at large.  In Cleveland, it has made him a hero because here is our billionaire owner publicly saying what we all felt and not being the least bit politically correct about it - not in some ill-advised rant on tv, but in a letter posted on the team's website...in Comic Sans font, no less.

Dan Gilbert is my hero.  I don't care what the rest of the country says about him.  Give me an owner who cares any day.  Everybody else can just STFU.  They don't live here so they don't know what it's like.
