Big Ten must tackle new scheduling (ESPN.com)
The dust hasn't even settled yet and we're seeing the fallout of the college football realignment. The other question that remains to be asked is if they're finally going to change the name of the conference. I've always thought it was silly to have 11 teams in the Big Ten - although, to be fair, I do like the way that they've incorporated the 11 into the logo - but now what do they do? Call it The Other Big 12?
With Texas, TCU and the like opting to stay in the restructured Big 12 and Utah potentially rounding out the additions to the PAC-10, I don't think we'll see the Big Ten expand anymore - at least not this year - although there's still the possibility of going east after teams like Pitt and Rutgers.
