Lest people have any misconceptions about just how big soccer is in the United States, I give you the MLS Cup Halftime Show.  Granted, people have mocked the Super Bowl Halftime Show forever, but while the 2009 Super Bowl Halftime Show gave us Bruce Springsteen, the 2009 MLS Cup Halftime Show gave us Massive Monkees providing the visual while Jimmy Conrad of the Kansas City Wizards faced off against Fredy Montero of the Seattle Sounders in Guitar Hero. They rocked out to Michael Jackson's classic song "Beat It".  Yes, the NFL gave us Michael Jackson in the 90s for their championship while MLS gave us two guys playing Michael Jackson on "Guitar Hero".
