Power Rankings: Week 26 (MLSSoccer.com)

A 1-0 CONCACAF win has the Crew standing atop their Group, but a 2-2 tie with New Engalnd leaves them ranked fifth for a third straight week in the MLS power rankings and, at 13-7-6, still holding onto a narrow three point lead over the Red Bulls.

Power Rankings: Week 27 (MLSSoccer.com)

The Crew continue to scuffle offensively, with only their defense to thank for a scorless tie with San Jose.  The tie leaves them mired in 5th in the power rankings and, more importantly, has dropped them three points behind the New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference at 13-7-7.

Power Rankings: Week 28 (MLSSoccer.com)

The Crew continued their freefall with a 2-0 loss to the Chicago Fire.  The loss dropped them to 13-8-7, two points behind the New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference.  More concerning is the fact that the Crew have gone over a month since their last MLS win (September 4th), going 0-3-2 in that span and scoring only three combined goals.

Power Rankings: Week 29 (MLSSoccer.com)

A 2-2 tie to Toronto may have stopped the bleeding after a shutout loss to Chicago, but it couldn't keep the Crew from continuing to fall in the power rankings.  At 13-8-8, the Crew find themselves ranked 7th and, more importantly, three points behind the New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference - where, not so long ago, it looked like the Crew were going to run away with the regular season record.

Power Rankings: Week 30 (MLSSoccer.com)

The Crew pummeled Joe Public, 4-1, to complete Group play in the CONCACAF tournament then wrapped up MLS play with a strong 3-1 win over Philadelphia, but lost goalkeeper William Hesmer to injury in the process.

The win was enough to move them back up to sixth in the final regular season power rankings, but the loss of Hesmer looms large as the Crew head into the playoffs.

They wrap up the regular season with a mark of 14-8-8, 1 point behind the Eastern Conference leading New York Red Bulls.
